Ferragamo's S/S 2022 campaign whisks us away into a Mediterranean universe

Ferragamo’s S/S 2022 campaign “Hotel Splendid” transports us into a tropical landscape full of warmth, freedom and style. With modern photos by Hugo Comte and a short movie produced by and featuring Amalia Ulman, the collection is set in an idyllic holiday location, the neutral intricacy of design complemented by rich scenery. 

Starring Ulman and Jharrel Jerome, Nyaueth Riam and Xu Meen and modeled by Greta Hofer, Nyaueth Riam and Xu Meen, the campaign takes an Italian lens as it personifies summer beauty and sensuality. A sense of escapism is felt through Comte’s contemporary approach, blending vintage ambience with architectural plasticity in a series of individual shots and mise-en-scènes.

Accessories take center stage, with the Ferragamo Studio Bag and the Trifolio appearing alongside the newest addition to the collection: an ultra-soft bucket bag offered in a variety of colors. Ready-to-wear looks feature the iconic Vara and Varina  designs, the bohemian clogs with Gancini buckle, the mules with woven uppers and the men’s Tramezza moccasin. Garments in knit and jersey feature a three-dimensional textured crafting processes that adds to the freedom of each article, a fervor central to Ferragamo’s new collection.
