Spider-Man: No Way Home Trailer is Finally here

Take a look at this long-waited trailer

What is Spider-Man fervent? When the alleged trailer of “Spider-Man: No Way Home” was leaked online over the weekend, fans clamored, and of course, it was trending on Twitter. Though Sony didn’t respond immediately, on Monday, Sony Pictures released a 3-minute teaser of the movie.

Zendaya, who plays JM, also announced on Instagram, “It’s finally here!!!!! No Way Home official trailer @spidermanmovie @tomholland2012 @lifeissaloha @jnwtts @marvel @sonypictures.” The popularity? In 13 hours, this post has received over 2 million likes and over 5 million views.

Helicopters hovering around, JM and Peter looking flustered on the skyscraper, and the city sinking down – the trailer begins with a series of dramatic shots. After his mentor is dead, his second mentor betrayed him, and his identity was exposed, Peter Parker’s life is getting messier for sure. As JM laughs as she reads the news article about Peter, Peter laments, “Stop, come on, can we just like stay up here all day? It is so crazy down there.”

It is Peter’s lament that sets the tone for the third entry of the cinematic Spider-Man: he wants to bring his life back to normal when no one recognizes him as Spider-Man, but the cost is high.

Asking help from Doctor Stranger, Peter keeps asking Strange questions when he is performing the spell. “Stop tampering with the spell,” Strange tells Peter. But it’s too late. The damage is done as chaos starts to sprawl across New York City.

“We tampered with the stability of space-time. The multiverse is a concept about which we know frighteningly little,” Strange says.

It’s not hard to guess that the third entry of Spider-Man will usher us into a messier world. Directed by Jon Watts, “Spider-Man: No Way Home” stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker, Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Stephen Strange, Zendaya as Mary Jane Watson, Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, and Marisa Tomei as Peter’s Aunt May, Alfred Molina as Doctor Otto Octavius, and Jamie Foxx as Electro. The movie is set to release in theaters on December 17.
