Following a directorial debut earlier this year in the anthology horror film XX, St. Vincent is embarking on her first feature film debut with the Oscar Wilde classic "The Picture of Dorian Gray."

The singer announced the project on Twitter and Instagram, naming David Birke as the screenwriter. With the addition of Birke, known for writing 2016's explosive thriller Elle, as well as the upcoming Slender Man horror film, this adaptation promises to be dark, but with a twist: the title character will be a woman.

Stay tuned for more details on the upcoming film, and while you wait, you can find XX on Netflix for a taste of St. Vincent's directorial chops.
