Stella McCartney presented her Men's and Women’s Fall 2018 collections yesterday to a star-clad ensemble, showing off the print-happy lines to the likes of Goldie Hawn, Kate Hudson, Miranda Kerr, Jhene Aiko, and Rashida Jones. In homage to the glitz and glamour of Hollywood, where the event took place, the collection was accompanied by musical performances from BØRNS, Leon Bridges, Grimes, St. Vincent, and Beck. The designer's father and Beatles legend Paul McCartney even joined Muse for a rendition of the Beatles' "Helter Skelter."

McCartney combined the collections during the event, coinciding with her gender-fluid outlook on fashion. Vivid prints and bright colors danced across McCartney’s signature “masculine meets feminine” silhouettes, playing off the effortless aspect we all not-so-secretly crave.

The women’s collection featured a cacophony of varying shapes, moving from broad outerwear and shapely jogger pants to draping dresses and slim skirts. McCartney made use of everything from animal prints, lace details, and denim, reworking old shapes with blunt cuts and strategic detailing. Also utilized throughout the collection was the monotone trend and the “half-and-half” look that has been ruling the runways, layering loud prints overtop softer tones.

Menswear branched off traditional British silhouettes, toying around with the familiar and the audacious. Following in suit to the women's range, the collection introduces a variety of structures as well, showcasing constructed blazers atop form-fitting knits. In the theme of “bold yet British”, the line incorporates relaxed shades of navy and grey, with splashes of vibrant hues and eccentric animal prints.
