Step into Another World with Prada Mode

Prada presents ‘Satellites II,’ beginning in early June 2026 set at the iconic Hotel Chelsea in New York City
Satellites II, the fourteenth edition of Prada Mode, collaborates with Japanese game creator Hideo Kojima, known for creating Death Stranding, and Danish film director Nicolas Winding Refn, known for Drive (2011) and the Pusher trilogy. A preview will be held from June 3 and 4, a highly sought after invitation, but will be opened to the public June 5-7.

The Danish and Japanese artists previously came together for Satellites, set in Prada Aoyama Tokyo during the summer of 2025. Satellites II builds upon the previous installation, creating an immersive experience for visitors. Featuring varied languages and cultures, it places an emphasis on connection and communication as central to human life.
Hosted by Hotel Chelsea, a romantic setting within pop culture, the space connects language to love through creativity. The two curators blend their aesthetics, with elements of science fiction merging with the historical space. The exclusive first two days will welcome visitors into hotel rooms transformed into television studios. The studios will host performances and later be turned into art installations for public access.
Beyond these performances, other spaces emphasize the relationship between Nicolas Winding Refn and Hideo Kojima, the two connected through a friendship deeply influenced by mutual inspiration and an obsession with their art.
A lucky few will enter a space serving as an exclusive members’ club for the first two days. The event will include dinners and celebrations, a christening of the space as a forum for building relationships. Following this, the space opens to New York City, inviting artists, creators, and anyone who seeks to deeply experience life.
