Balmain Fall-Winter 2026 is presented by the new Creative Director Antonin Tron following the French designer joining the fashion house in November 2025. Tron has gathered experience working with all the major houses, from interning with Vivienne Westwood and Raf Simons, to working alongside Nicolas Ghesquière at Balenciaga and Demna. Tron then launched his own brand Atlein, which gained significant attention and a collaboration with Kylie Jenner’s Khy.

Now, Tron looks to make a career defining entrance with Balmain, the first show setting the tone for his partnership with the brand. Founded by Pierre Balmain in 1945, the history of the brand has marked the development of its aesthetic. Ton draws upon this, collecting reminiscent themes from past collections to bring into 2026. Draping from Spring 1953 and an erotic tone of Spring 1946.
By drawing on the past, Tron solidifies Balmain as a history defining brand, staking its position of notoriety and importance to the entire industry. Other emblems of the brand appear: tiger and crocodile, smooth leathers, the iconic pilot jacket, a piece currently experiencing a modern revival.

Tron announces his vision with this collection, a focus on the bodily image, the objective being to maintain freedom of movement while enhancing the body with glamour. The house began with haute couture and returns to this place with adoration, each look being composed of rich materials and thoughtful precision.
Here appears satin, shearling, jacquard cloque, lace, all in dark hues. Tron uses the collection to introduce new bags, always a spotlight item on any runway. The “Sphynx” has an hourglass shape and soft composure while the “Dinner at 8” clutch takes on a utilitarian aesthetic.

The collection creates a connection between sensuality and strength, recognizing that the two exist together in an interconnectedness. Balmain enters this new era, led by Antonin Tron, and pulsing with strength and sensuality.
