Alo Yoga is usually known as a yoga centered street brand that’s ‘decidedly not just for the mat’. This time around, the brand has decided to expand their label into the world of accessories and jewelry. Starting today yogis and fashion enthusiasts alike can expect to style their mantra, manifest intentions, and wear a reminder to stay present with Alo Mala Jewelry. 

The mindfully made and handcrafted jewelry pieces pay tribute to the spiritual and cultural origins of mala beads — prayer beads commonly used in Hinduism, Jainism, Sikhism, Buddhism, Shintō and other traditions for a spiritual practice. The gemstones are also ethically – sourced and can be used for meditation or as a ‘reminder of your higher purpose’. 

Each bracelet is hand strung by an all-female team group of Tibetan artisans who participate in prayer practices while they make the bracelets. According to Alo Yoga, “each strand is made with love and reverence for the sacred tradition of malas”.

Additionally, a portion of each sale will go toward the Manjushree Vidyapeth Orphanage located in a historical Tibetan village in the eastern Himalayas. The organization serves more than 300 children by providing them with a loving and compassionate home, education, and a solid foundation in life.
