Summer Walker and Chris Brown Get Together for “Something Real”

“I want something, something that I can feel / I want something, that I know is real.”

Summer Walker and Chris Brown just came out with a new collab dubbed “Something Real.” In the London On Da Track-produced single, the BET’d Soul Train winners flaunt their chemistry over a snapping, bounce-driven beat.

Very recently, Walker canceled the remaining tour dates on her First and Last Tour due to her struggles with social anxiety. “As you know, I have been very open about my struggle with social anxiety. I want to continue to be healthy and to make music for y’all, so I have decided to cut down some of the dates on the tour,” she shared on Instagram. “I hope you all can understand. I’m grateful for every single one of you, and I hope that you understand that wellness/mental health is important.”

The artist has also received criticism for refusing to hug her fans at meet and greets—a boundary she established for mental health reasons. Earlier this fall, the Walker released her first studio album titled Over It, which proved to be the biggest debut for a woman in R&B since Beyoncé’s Lemonade
