Superga has teamed up with the colorful and unapologetic designer, Mira Mikati for an exclusive Spring/Summer 2020 collaboration. This season, the Italian shoe brand reimagines the Superga’s classic 2750 white style — the Mikati way. It has been a dream for Mikati to collaborate with Superga. The designer reveals, “I’m a huge fan of the brand and have been wearing their classic style in each and every color since my teenage years.”

Offered in three unique variations, the styles mirror the Mira Mikati Spring/Summer 2020 collection. Expanding on her love for colors and beaded jewelry, the first design is garnished with rainbow glitter, colorful lurex, and metallic blue laces. The second pair features colorful eyelets with wooden beads on the laces to emphasize movement and the third is embroidered with hand-stitched yarn motifs. Proud of her creations, Mira expressed that “Turning this style into a colorful, happy shoe was a real delight and wearing all three options makes me happy.” 

Being a life long fan of the brand, there are many plans ahead for this collaboration. Currently, the partnership is “[p]lanning to organize workshops around the beaded version where customers can customize their shoes with their choice of beads that they would pick, making each shoe become a unique one.”

Prices for the shoes range from $400 to $560 and are available at the Mira Mikati London flagship and online, as well as other retailers such as Farfetch, Shopbop, and Cabana Canary.
