Runway star Yasmin Wijnaldum quickly earned her supermodel status walking for the likes of Prada, Chanel, Moschino, Valentino, DSQUARED2, and Givenchy. This fashion month proved once again Yasmin's major status, whose fashionable face is a force to be reckoned with. Featured in V112, we caught the model in the midst of her FW18 runway marathon and asked about the upcoming spring season.

What is your favorite spring trend?

I’ve been really into fun sunglasses lately. I buy them in all different kinds of shapes and colors, and I love to use them on a sunny day when I don’t feel like wearing any makeup.

What is the most memorable show you walked in this season and why?

I think that must be Chanel. It’s always such a big show and it’s always my last show for the season. The collection was absolutely breathtaking and the runway was insane. You can always see that they put so much effort in that show and I have so much respect for all that hard work.

What is your most essential need to make it through fashion month?

Face masks. I have really sensitive skin and it tends to get really dry because of all the traveling and the makeup. So every single night when I get home from a shoot, I put on a face mask that moisturizes really well.

Besides modeling, what is something you find yourself passionate about?

Since I was a kid, I’ve always been really passionate about acting. And sometimes I feel like modeling is similar in a way because at every show or shoot, they need me to be a different type of woman that doesn’t necessarily reflect me as a person. So recently, I’ve been thinking about acting a lot and maybe taking some acting classes on the side in my free time.
