Coty, the beauty conglomerate with a portfolio of palatial proportions ー Vera Wang, Marc Jacobs, Gucci, Calvin Klein, Burberry ー joined forces with Swarovski to announce a long-term partnership that will revive the jewelry House’s fragrance division. The long-term agreement will enable Coty to license, develop and distribute any Swarovski collections oriented around beauty and fragrance.
Although the first Swarovski fragrance debuted across markets in 2010 with the introduction of the ‘Aura’ collection, followed by the ‘Aura Love’ collection in 2013, the end of a licensing agreement with Clarins Fragrance Group discontinued the House’s endeavors into the beauty industry.
The new partnership with Coty will allow Swarovski to build a brand presence in the beauty market and diversify its product offerings across a larger scope of luxury fashion. With a commitment to extravagance and a pop luxury punch, Swarovski’s entrance into the beauty market is sure to dazzle ー maybe even as much as their jewels.
