When one thinks of Swarovski, one thinks of crystal. Elegant, dazzling stones that bring joy into any room. Swarovski finds their way into many different aspects of life. From jewelry to fashion, and now into the kitchen. For their new collection, Swarovski partners with world-renowned porcelain artisan Rosenthal to create an exclusive set of tableware.

Giovanna Englebert, Swarovski’s Creative Director, and the porcelain masters at Rosenthal designed the Signum Collection with joy in mind. Each piece aims to highlight moments of joy, while also showcasing the heritage of the two brands.

“With this collection, we offer a new way of embellishing your daily life. Just like we are adorning ourselves with jewelry, we get the joy from decorating our lives through this whimsical yet elegant collection of porcelains that adorn our tables,” said Englebert.

The Signum collection takes inspiration from the 19th-century Austrian art movement and combines those motifs with modern approaches to art and craftsmanship. Color meets sophistication to create a retro-futuristic design. Using their knowledge of porcelain with their innate attention to detail, Rosenthal creates usable art. With this new collection, Swarovski unveils its brand pattern for the first time. The brand octagonal motif is found throughout different design elements.

Signum is the unity of these two ambitions, made real,” said Mads Ryder, Rosenthal CEO.

Like the octagon, the Signum collection utilizes Swarvoski’s brand colors to further show their heritage. Blue, yellow, green, and pink are highlighted with gold accents to highlight the brand’s history in creating jewelry. The iconic swan finds its way onto cut-crystal lids and center stamps. Rosenthal showcases their talents through the forming, printing, and hand painting of décor details onto different pieces.

The collection includes tea sets, espresso sets, and full dining services. The complete collection is available in verdant green, while select items are available in the other Swarovski colors. The range of colors allows the collection to be customizable, or act as a complete green set.
