It’s time for tourists to take center stage as Baum und Pferdgarten debuted its Spring Summer 2024 collection, “A Postcard from Copenhagen,” full of looks exploring historic spots of the Danish capital and the diverse individuals that make the trip over every summer.
The collection starts out with pieces inspired by the harbor, historically the heart of the city, and a great way for tourists to learn Copenhagen’s maritime history. Nautical looks include Breton stripes, knitted bags, and of course, sailor hats, all in a combination of navy and white.
The next and last tour spot is to the royal castle grounds, where tourists can see cherry blossoms at the King’s garden, and iconography of the historic Little Mermaid statue on the Queen’s guard uniforms.
Pinks from the cherry blossoms lead this section of the collection, which ranges from floral print dresses and quilted textiles to the brand’s name in graffiti style—resembling guerrilla-style graffiti artists whose work tourists will find all over the city.
Looks then expand towards the end of the collection, leaving structured inspirations and using combinations of both the first and second sections—all to emphasize that Copenhagen is first and foremost a city with no rules on how to dress.
Additions such as a leather jacket and more neutral blazers provide more options to incorporate both nautical and cherry blossom-inspired pieces into your look.
Everyone is encouraged to dress for themselves, and Baum und Pferdgarten honors that with a collection that combines multiple inspirations in creative and artistic ways in order to emphasize the brand’s inclusivity and focus on the fact that everyone has their own individual style.
