In a dreamy journey, transcending the rigid barriers of time and space, Dior’s Summer 2023 men’s line takes us from the birthplace of Christian Dior himself to Charleston, England where artist Duncan Grant worked and lived. Through a series of colorful photographs made to accentuate Kim Jones’ designs, we are invited into the idyllic countryside for the upcoming season.

 Matching the show’s scenographic exploration from the coast of Normandy to the Sussex countryside, the campaign’s imagery reveals an enchanting backdrop, alluding to Monsieur Dior’s passion for nature. Shot in a garden of wildflowers, the collection’s looks marry precise tailoring with the functionality of outerwear. 

Blurring the lines between art and fashion, Duncan Grant’s work features on sportswear pieces, inspiring an unforgettable take on elegance. Stephen Jones-designed hats with wide brims pay homage to the hat worn by Grant when he painted. 

Resulting from a collaboration with the American brand Mystery Ranch, the Saddle is reinvented with an open-air model, while the Dior Gallagator by Mystery Ranch backpacks are ready for the great outdoors, accompanied by removable water-repellent covers and hoods. Additionally, Dior’s signature cannage graphics adorn the B31 sneakers and the Dior Warp sandals, distorted in an ultra-futuristic variation. 

In a blend of heritage, modernity, and adventure, the Dior Summer 23 campaign pays a grand tribute to the freedom of the great outdoors.
