A black wedding gown once signified a bride’s eternal devotion to her spouse.
Today it is seen as an alluring alternative to the classic white gown, as though, along with her bouquet, the soon-to-be-wed carries all sorts of mysteries and secrets simply waiting to be unveiled throughout the course of a marriage. The case for the traditional all-white look, however, remains strong. As the tried-and-true white dress continues to be reinvented on the Resort runway, V said yes to more than one dress.
