Meet ‘Kenny.’

This summer, the female streetwear brand TAKEON, introduces a new age collaboration—one that is unusual, yet fun and creative. TAKEON Dream is a collaboration with artist Colin Ozawa, known for his whimsical and animated characters.

Colin and co-founder of TAKEON, Chelsea Ma met in Shanghai back in 2019 and became friends. The two had an admiration for each other’s work and immediately knew that a collaboration was in the works for the near future. Being that 2020 has been a difficult year for most of the world, Chelsea and Colin wanted to express how many of us felt during quarantine. That’s how ‘Kenny’ was born. The animated character in Ozawa’s style, has become the icon for their imaginations.

The TAKEON X Colin collaboration includes a 10 inch Toy figurine, named ‘Kenny,’ dressed in TAKEON’s SS20 suit apparel and a series of T-shirts with the Toy Figure logo. The analogy of bright colors used on the silhouettes are not only for brighter days ahead but to celebrate the recent pride month.

The collection will be available July, 10th online at https://www.takeonlabel.com and Extra Butter Retail store. Check out the collection below.
