The GRAMMY-nominated pop force returns with SO CLOSE TO WHAT??? (deluxe), an expanded edition of her chart-topping third album released via RCA Records. The update brings five new tracks: TIT FOR TAT, NOBODY’S GIRL, ANYTHING BUT LOVE, TRYING ON SHOES, and HORSESHOE.

The new edition arrives alongside a video for NOBODY’S GIRL, directed by Thibaut Grevet and animated by the choreography of French collective (LA)HORDE. The visual captures what has defined McRae’s career from the beginning, movement as language, storytelling as performance, and emotion expressed through both voice and body.

The release follows the massive global sweep of Tate’s Miss Possessive Arena Tour, a rare feat for an artist still early in her twenties. With more than 80 dates and a million tickets sold across Latin America, Europe, the United Kingdom, and North America, the tour proved her power as a live performer. Across her catalog, she has reinvigorated a genre many had already declared fading, bringing pop into focus.

Her breakout single you broke me first, now certified 5x Platinum, pushed her into global consciousness. While her debut album and its successor, THINK LATER, cemented her as both a streaming titan and a radio staple. Earlier this year, the original version of So Close To What debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, driven by tracks that topped Billboard’s Hot Dance and Pop Songs chart.
