After being largely absent from public eye, and many a cryptic tweet, Taylor Swift has finally confirmed a return to the spotlight with a new album, due this November.

On Instagram, Swift announced Reputation, which marks her 6th studio album, following the overwhelming success of her 2014's release 1989, marking an official shift from country music to full-blown pop anthems. With a gothic font, it's unclear how the new music will sound—perhaps Swift will experiment with yet another style—but luckily we don't have too long to wait and see, as she's also announced the first single to drop tomorrow night.

With what appears to be the album artwork, the title Reputation (complete with headline clippings across a black and white image of her) might be a nod to the dramas she's faced through her life in the limelight, most recently including a courtroom battle against a DJ who claimed she falsely accused him of groping her. Swift emerged victorious; her next album is sure to follow suit.
