As anticipated — following the success of its sellout shopping bag — Telfar has embarked on a new brand extension, launching an impressive collection of durags inline with the brand’s mission statement.

Continuing to provide luxury fashion to the communities that aren’t typically granted access, designer Telfar Clemens told Interview, “This durag is meant to be a kind of luxury, and our goal, as always, is even more accessibility and ubiquity…We want to be in every braiding spot, barbershop, and bodega in America.” 

Telfar has been in the spotlight and has plans to remain in it… following the success of its Bag Security Program and now, offering 5 colorways for the launch of its durag collection. Blue, Red, and Black Bandana Print durags are modernized with the word “customer” strategically placed in the paisley motifs. The brand also offering a black and brown obscure Telfar monogram print durag. 

Hoping for more colorways in the future, the durags currently retail for $90 USD.
