Louis Vuitton is continuing to deepen its offerings with a new chapter. The fashion house is launching the Louis Vuitton Home Collections, starting off with a showcase at Milan Design Week. The Louis Vuitton Home Collections will cover five product categories and additionally will be celebrating the opening of the new Via Monte Napoleone store during Milan Design Week.

The first part of the Louis Vuitton Home Collections is a familiar offering from the house. The Objets Nomades was released in 2012 as a tribute to designers from around the world that modernize innovation while staying true to Louis Vuitton’s brand identity dedicated to the art of living. The Kaleidoscope cabinet — crafted in eight colours, each different from the next — will be displayed in blue at Milan Design Week.

To honor its past while launching the new Maison collections, Louis Vuitton is also paying tributes to Italian graphic artist Fortunato Depero in various tablewares, and to the adventurous spirit of French architect Charlotte Perriand through mountain-inspired textiles.

In an unexpected twist inspired by the work of Men’s Creative Director of Louis Vuitton Pharrell Williams, Louis Vuitton Home Collections also features a pinball machine and a game table for chess or mahjong. There is a surrealist element of the Home Collections, and it reflects across both the influences that Louis Vuitton selects and the overall nature of the design work.
Milan Design Week is from April 7 to 13.
