Just when you thought fashion's off-season had finally rolled around, the Council of Fashion Designers of America and Vogue are back to remind you that this industry doesn't take breaks.

The companies have officially announced the finalists for the 2018 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund: Batsheva Hay of Batsheva, Emily Adams Bode of Bode, Christian Cowan of Christian Cowan, Danielle Corona of Hunting Season, Jonathan Cohen and Sarah Left of Jonathan Cohen, Raul Lopez of Luar, Matthew Adams Dolan of Matthew Adams Dolan, Kerby Jean-Raymond of Pyer Moss, Rebecca de Ravenel of Rebecca de Ravenel, and Scosha Woolridge of Scosha.

Established in 2003, the fund offers substantial monetary support and mentorships to a winning designer and two runners-up as determined by an esteemed panel of judges, including Eva Chen, Diane von Furtsenberg, and none other than Anna Wintour herself. Over the next few months judges will meet with each finalist in their studios to review their current collections. The winner and runners-up will be announced at a fashion show and gala on November 5.

Mark your calendars, people—in fashion, there are no days off.
