The Armani Group is Manufacturing Medical Overalls to Help Fight COVID-19

Giorgio Armani has also donated 2 million euros to fight the coronavirus pandemic.

As COVID-19 continues to threaten the world’s well-being, the Armani Group announced that all of its Italian production plants have switched to manufacturing single use medical overalls, to be used for the individual protection of healthcare workers fighting the pandemic at the front lines.

Additionally, Giorgio Armani donated a total of 2 million euros to the National Civil Protection Department and the Luigi Sacco, San Raffaele, Istituto dei Tumori hospitals in Milan and Istituto Spallanzani in Rome as well as hospitals in Bergamo, Piacenza and Versilia in the Tuscany region in an effort to help combat the virus. In this time of despair, Armani’s monetary and design donations are critically important to the nation’s effort to flatten the curve. The brand’s philanthropy showcases the importance of textile workers and fashion designers even in a crisis.
