The Fendi Baguette Has Never Been So Back

Fendi revamps the cult-classic with The Baguette Lab following the release of a Re-Edition
The Fendi Baguette is back (not that it ever really left). The brand celebrated the launch of The Baguette 26424 Re-Edition at their Madison Avenue flagship store in New York City. Joining in on the event were a crowd of A-listers, influencers, and worshipers of the long-standing shoulder bag.

Actresses Blake Lively and Olivia Wilde joined creators Tessa Brooks and Steph Hui to celebrate and be among the first to step inside the all-new Baguette Lab. Offering restoration services designed to extend the life of vintage accessories, the lab gives new life to existing pieces while reinforcing the enduring appeal of the Baguette. Paired with the launch of the Re-Edition, it positions the bag as one of the season’s most coveted accessories.

The original Baguette, introduced in 1997, earned worldwide recognition as one of fashion’s defining it bags. Spotted on the arms of countless 2000s icons, the style cemented its place in fashion history. Its popularity reached new heights through Carrie Bradshaw, whose wardrobe in Sex and the City made the bag synonymous with effortless New York glamour. Alongside Bradshaw, style figures from Kim Kardashian to Paris Hilton have carried the iconic silhouette in the years since its debut.

The new collection brings together twenty designs, including sequin, beaded, animal-print, and knit variations. The individuality of each design is what makes the collection feel so distinctive. Finished with Fendi’s bold emblem securing each handbag, the collection serves as a chic nod to the house’s heritage while celebrating the enduring appeal of the Baguette.
