The American Music Awards took place this weekend and saw stars from the US and beyond come together to celebrate the biggest names, songs, and moments in American music.

The award ceremony was the 50th celebration of American music and took place at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Airing on ABC, the red carpet and award show saw artists and celebrities bring their best looks and impeccable styling to the event.

This time around, the red carpet was actually black, and those who were strutting across it were wearing everything from big fashion houses to small designers.
