Whether you’re looking for a sweet gift or a way to snazz up your own style, here are a few of the best options to make your eyes pop just in time for the holidays. It’s not a season for muted colors and safe choices. It’s a time for glitter, for neons, and for sparkle.  These palettes feature all of the above, and are verified quality selections. Rare Beauty Confident Energy Palette ($25)

This six-pan palette is one of the latest offerings from celebrity makeup line Rare Beauty. The brand was launched by Selena Gomez and features a number of products, from lipsticks to foundation. According to the brand, these “chromatic shades” will help you “reflect your true aura.”

Urban Decay Stoned Vibes ($54)

This palette offers eight “marbleized” shades and four mattes, aka everything needed to build a day-to-night party look. The collection is gemstone inspired, which helps out with the punny title. Take your pick of deep purples, blues, or pinks.

Marc Jacobs Extravagance! Eye-Conic Palette ($49.50)

This bronzed palette is totally iconic. It features every shade needed for the perfect smoky, golden eye. Seven shades can either be used together (for the aforementioned smoky look) or separately as single shadow wonders.


This 18-shade monolith of a palette is to die for. Pat McGrath is an icon in the makeup world, and her new makeup brand reflects that expertise. In the palette are gorgeous mattes, iridescents, shimmers, and glitters. Each is sure to pack a punch.

Too Faced has reimagined their classic Chocolate Palette with golden and honey shades. Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina Vol. 1 ($60)

This palette holds 25 deluxe-sizded pans filled to the brim with a powerful array of shades. The collection was apparently curated by Norvina herself, with artistry in mind. It features a lot of purples, as well as a few stunning metallics.

Too Faced Palm Spring Dreams ($45)

Inspired by retro Palm Springs, this palette is cute and easy to use. Though there are a few bolder colors, all the shades work great in tandem with each other, which makes coming up with looks super easy to do. Not to mention, the vintage inspired case with look great in your collection.

Nars Afterglow Eyeshadow Palette (£56.00)
