As Jacques Solovière Paris honors its 10th anniversary this year, the footwear label is celebrating in new and creative ways. Launched in June 2014 by designer Alexia Aubert, the Parisian label aims to champion timeless design with lightweight craftsmanship done in Italy’s finest workshops and factories.
In honor of the momentous chapter, the label has tapped men’s street style star and creative director Steve González to present a curated capsule collection centered around the brand’s most iconic silhouettes. As a testament to timeless and elegant designs that echo the style DNA of both Jacques Solovière Paris and González, the six piece collection offers classic takes on a lug-soled derby, a grained calf leather loafer done in black, white, and a navy and white option that harken back to European summers, and a crisscross sandal in both beige and brown suede leathers that can easily be dressed down or up during the hotter climates.
With carefully selected designs that further explore the storytelling of both brands, the shoes help create staple options for any man’s wardrobe.
With González born in Los Angeles and raised between Mexico City and L.A., the now New York City-based creative has been further developing his expertise in the menswear style scene with his background in international business and fashion design, having tapped into both the New York and European market as one of the most influential menswear creators, having gone on to collaborate with globally renowned brands on digital marketing and creative direction initiatives.
