Following her acclaimed debut album Good At Falling from 2019, the British singer-songwriter Amber Bain, who goes by the moniker The Japanese House, released a new EP on Wednesday titled Chewing Cotton Wool via Dirty Hit Records. Within the EP is “Dionne”, which features Grammy award-winning songwriter Justin Vernon of Bon Iver.

The opening track to Chewing Cotton Wool is another new song titled “Sharing Beds”, and The Japanese House’s 2019 singles “Chewing Cotton Wool” and “Something Has To Change” will go on to round out the EP. Piecing all the tracks together to form the EP’s entirety leaves The Japanese House with another bedroom-pop, synth-filled, and ultimately dreamy body of work.
