For her Couture debut at FENDI, Maria Grazia Chiuri looks to Rome as a source of inspiration and a living archive. The FENDI Couture Fall/Winter 2026–2027 Jewelry Collection draws from the city’s mythology, translating its most enduring symbols into finely crafted pieces that bridge antiquity and the present.

The collection begins with sketches by Roman artist Pietro Ruffo, whose depictions of Apollo, Janus, the Capitoline she-wolf, and other emblems of the Eternal City set the visual direction. Master goldsmiths Stefano Palazzi and Paolo del Ferraro transform those illustrations into jewelry, preserving the character of each drawing while revealing the precision and technical expertise behind every piece.

Across both jewelry and fashion, craftsmanship becomes a way of expressing movement and desire. Ancient iconography is reinterpreted through a contemporary lens, allowing familiar symbols to take on renewed meaning.

The collaboration between Ruffo and the goldsmiths also reflects the spirit of the couture atelier, where artistic vision and specialized craftsmanship exist in constant conversation.
