The Neiman Marcus Awards Honor Brunello Cucinelli, Jonathan Anderson and Amina Muaddi to close out Paris Fashion Week

Neiman Marcus Group recognized and amplified global fashion luminaries at their award celebration on Sunday

To close out Paris Fashion Week, Neiman Marcus Group hosted a celebration to honor the Neiman Marcus Awards and pay tribute to the 2023 honorees: Brunello Cucinelli, Jonathan Anderson and Amina Muaddi. The three were receiving the esteemed Neiman Marcus Award for Distinguished Service in the Field of Fashion, new Neiman Marcus Award for Creative Impact in the Field of Fashion and new Neiman Marcus Award for Innovation in the Field of Fashion, respectively.

The Neiman Marcus Awards recognize and amplify breakthrough luminaries in fashion globally, embodying the company’s commitment to connecting brand partners to luxury customers in inventive ways. Hosted at La Suite Girafe, industry leaders, creative forces, global brand partners and past Award recipients came together to celebrate the honorees. The event was star-studded, with notable attendees including Ashley Park and Paul Forman in Brunello Cucinelli collection, Lori Harvey, Didi Han, Olivia Palermo and a special performance by Noah Cyrus. Special guest Rosita Missoni was also in attendance, celebrating her 50th anniversary of receiving the Distinguished Service Award.

Brunello Cucinelli, Amina Muadi and Jonathan Anderson all reflect differing areas of fashion; from Amina Muadi’s sparkling accessories to Brunello Cucinelli’s luxurious staples to the quirky designs of Loewe. “It is not often that an accessories designer gets the same recognition as Ready-to-Wear or are perceived as innovators in fashion,” shared Muaddi. “It’s such an important award for me because having Neiman Marcus as a partner was always a dream before I started my business, and Neiman Marcus believed in me right from the very beginning.” Anderson also spoke at the event. “Thank you very much, Neiman Marcus, for choosing me. You have  been there from the very beginning, and believed in me when no one else did,” he shared.

Each honoree’s brand expression will be presented in immersive experiences at Neiman Marcus stores as part of the retailer’s integrated approach. Brunello Cucinelli will launch the exclusive pieces from the Icon Collection this April, and Jonathan Anderson and Amina Muaddi will individually design exclusive collections for the store as well. To celebrate the honorees, store windows of the retailer in select locations have been re-designed to highlight the brands.

“Bringing together the beating heart of the luxury industry was an incredibly important component of how we reimagined the awards platform,” said Geoffroy van Raemdonck, Chief Executive Officer of Neiman Marcus Group. “Tonight, we came together, united by our passion for our customers, to celebrate visionaries in the field of fashion who Revolutionize Luxury Experiences.”
