All of New York’s art lovers descended upon lower Manhattan last night for the New Museum’s 2019 Spring Gala, which kicked off at Cipriani’s on Wall Street. This year’s event was to honor the Dutch architect, Rem Koolhaas. John Waters was in attendance sporting one of the most unique suits to go with his pencil-thin mustache, while the artist Cindy Sherman showed up all smiles.

The model Emily Ratajkowski popped by right before dinner, while Talking Heads musician David Byrne turned heads. As the only man in the room wearing a cap, the record-breaking artist KAWS did not disappoint, neither did actress-turned-painter Leelee Sobieski and her wonderful silk dress. There’s more.
