The famous German-based suitcase brand, Rimowa, and London-based skateboarding and clothing brand, Palace have teamed up for the first time to release a limited edition suitcase alongside other accessories. With only 500 models produced, this collaboration is one to watch out for primarily as both brands are known for their daring designs.

The limited-edition suitcase, deck, and sticker set will merge Rimowa’s classic German engineering with Palace’s unique fashion and streetwear style.

Set to release on February 10th, the main item of this collaboration is the Palace x Rimowa Original Cabin. The exterior of the suitcase is presented in a hand-airbrushed aesthetic featuring a colorful artwork of a dystopian desert landscape including a figure walking towards a monolith appearing to be watched over by a sand sculpture of a woman.

Whilst Rimowa has done a handful of collaborations with brands alike in the past including Supreme, and Bape, never have they released a design quite so intricate, detailed, and vibrant. This collaboration is certainly one that stands out.

Rimowa has been a firm believer in personalizing their cases with stickers for quite some time now in order to allow the cases to be more personal to their owner, therefore it comes as no surprise that a sticker collection is being released alongside the case. From Palace’s brand logo re-designed with a Rimowa twist to cartoon-like graphics, the sticker collection goes hand in hand with the case.

Not only does this collaboration consist of suitcases, but a limited-edition deck is also being released alongside the collection. A more simple design, the deck celebrates the spirit of mobility and movement, a belief shared strongly by both brands.

The collaboration is celebrated with a film featuring the Palace skate team, Rory Milanes and Charlie Birch. Starting in Tokyo and moving into an imagined dystopian universe, the film encompasses all that the collaboration stands for and the connection between the two brands.

After launch, limited quantities of this collaboration will be available in Rimowa stores worldwide and online as well as Palace flagship stores worldwide and online as well as at Dover Street Market in London and Los Angeles.
