The “Sex and the City” Reboot Outfits Are Everything We Could’ve Dreamed Of

“And Just Like That…” we’re obsessed with Carrie’s closet all over again.

Filming for the Sex and the City reboot, “And Just Like That…,” is well underway in New York City. With cast sightings and film crews set up around the city, fans are getting a sneak peek into the some of the new storylines that Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte will go through in the 10-part HBO Max series.

But it wouldn’t be a “Sex and the City” revival without high fashion. We’re talking shoes, dresses, handbags and accessories. Luckily, thanks to on set pictures and keen-eyed fans, many of the looks that will be seen on the show (so far) have been identified. With pieces inspired by the original series, – as well as many actual vintage items – the women’s wardrobes do not disappoint.

Take a look at some of the pieces worn by the leading ladies of “And Just Like That…,” and live out your own Carrie Bradshaw fantasies:

Carrie Bradshaw (played by the stunning Sarah Jessica Parker), was seen in a pink, altered Carolina Herrera Taffeta Shirt Dress. Cinched at the waist with the studded Streets Ahead USA Roger Belt and paired with vintage Manolo Blahnik BB Leather Pumps, this outfit is a certified Carrie Bradshaw classic. I mean, we all know how much she loved her Blahnik’s — and apparently still does.

Charlotte York Goldenblatt (Kristin Davis) could not look any more gorgeous than in this Balenciaga polka dot midi skirt . This bright and fresh look also features a Stella McCartney Puff Sleeve Cotton Top, Rianna + Nina Treasure Box and the same Manolo Blahnik BB Pumps as Carrie, but in yellow. Such a chic and breezy look.

Miranda Hobbes, played by the classy and elegant Cynthia Nixon, can be seen on a night out with the girls in a Likely NYC Dash Halter Jumpsuit and YSL Studded Leather Platform Sandals. Keeping it chic and simple — very on brand for Miranda.

On the same night out Carrie is seen holding a purple sequin Fendi Baguette bag (yes, the very same one she had mugged off of her in the original series). Although the purple sequins are hard to come by nowadays, a similar bag in pink or yellow is available here. The ’90s nostalgia in these looks is to die for.

Charlotte’s daughter Lily (Cathy Yang) is all grown up now — and she’s just as stylish as her mom. Wearing an altered Oscar de la Renta floral-appliqué halter-neck dress, Loeffler Randall Camellia Sandals and carrying a Roger Vivier Blossom Clutch, it’s clear the ladies have influenced her fashion sense.

Mr. Big’s ex-wife Natasha Naginsky (Bridget Moynahan) makes a surprise appearance in the revival, apparently in a lunch with Carrie (uh-oh!). She looks stunning and minimalist-chic as ever in a Stella McCartney Lauren Alter Mat Skirt and Gianvito Rossi Arena Sandals. She is also holding a Khaite Circle Medium Osa Tote in Green Leather.

It’s a relief to know that Carrie’s whimsical style hasn’t been watered down over the years. With an altered Dries Van Noten floral jacket from Spring/Summer 2017 layered over a vintage Claude Montana linen jumpsuit, this look is fun yet chic — Carrie’s specialty. Paired with YSL Liya Sandals, a vintage Lewis mixed metal chain bag and a feathered woven straw hat, this is one of the revival’s most out-there and vintage inspired looks (and we’re here for it).

Charlotte just can’t seem to get enough of these summery looks. This sailboat-printed Emilia Wicktead Elita Printed Cotton Poplin Midi Dress is layered over a white t-shirt and paired with Alexandre Birman Clarita Padded Leather Block-Heel Sandals and a Fendi Basket Tote Bag. The whole outfit screams a Hamptons getaway. The piece de resistance, however, is the 14 karat white gold and diamond tennis necklace by Meira T Jewelry. Adding extra sparkle and luxury to the playful look.

This classic Carrie look features a vintage dress and YSL Farrah Crackled Metallic Leather Platform Sandals, adding shimmer and an extra boost with these chunky heels. Clearly Carrie’s shoe collection has only continued to grow over the years. Definitely glad to see her staying true to her iconic style in the revival.

Miranda continues to keep it simple and chic, with age appropriate looks that are anything but boring. She looks elegant in a purple version of the Altuzarra Oleana Checked Blouse and Vince Tapered Pants. Throw in a vintage Bottega Veneta White Woven Clutch and the same Manolo Blahnik BB Pumps as the other girls (this time in cream), and you’ve got a classic Miranda power outfit.

This vintage inspired look is a fresh take on Carrie’s style, giving it a more mature and grown up twist. She rocks this vintage Norma Kamali Black and White Check Skirt, incredibly trendy Celine Melody Tri-Buckle Mary Jane Pumps and a Monrowe Bobby Jean Hat. The black and white outfit is accessorized with a Fry Powers Turquoise + Malachite Rope Necklace and Enamel Baroque Pearl Ring in Violet, as well as a Rosa de la Cruz London Classic Ebony Bracelet.
