For 2026, Givenchy unveils “The Snatch,” a new handbag conceived as an extension of the body. Its structure echoes the cinch of a tailored jacket, the curve of a waist, and the architectural line of a bra, translating sartorial references into leather. Crafted in supple calf-grain leather with a naturally tumbled texture, the exterior of the bag holds its shape with precision, while a contrasting nappa lining adds softness through an inside-out construction revealed when the bag is unzipped.
Photographed by David Sims and styled by Camilla Nickerson, the campaign images foreground the bag through a sense of physical presence. Shot against a pared-back backdrop, the compositions emphasize its sculptural lines as they interact with model Emeline Hoareau’s body, whether held close, lifted, or set into motion.

As for the details of the bag, an organic metal chain secures the bag with angular zipper pulls. Meanwhile, a fine metal frame traces the silhouette, available in gold or silver hardware. The effect is one of where structure and softness coexist. “Designed for versatility, “The Snatch” is offered in three sizes, large, medium, and small, and can be worn by hand, on the shoulder, or crossbody. Its color palette spans classic tones of black, aubergine, dark brown, and taupe, alongside shades of baby pink, red, cream, and a black-and-white option.
