The Trailer for Little Women is here!

A new trailer has just dropped for Director Greta Gerwig’s high anticipated remake of Little Women.

We get our first glimpse of the March sisters as the first trailer for Little Women drops. Directed by Greta Gerwig (the women behind Lady Bird) Little Women is Based on the 1868 coming of age novel by Louisa May Alcott. Both novel and movie tells the story of five sisters who discover who they are and who they want to be. The sister navigate 19th century gender politics and expectations against the backdrop of America’s Civil War.

The movie stars Emma Watson, Saoirse Ronan and Timothée Chalamet. Emma Watson plays Meg March. The part was originally offered to Emma Stone who coincidentally took the lead role in La La Land only after Emma Watson turned it down. Watson took to Twitter to share a post with a caption that reads ““I could never love anyone as I love my sisters.” – Louisa May Alcott.

This isn’t the first Hollywood feature of Little Women. The 1994 film starred Claire Danes and former V cover stars, Winona Ryder and Kirsten Dunst.
