The Winners of the 2022 American Music Awards
The who won what of the American Music Awards.
The American Music Awards took place this past weekend in Los Angeles, California, at the Microsoft Theatre. The event brought together the biggest names in American music, hailing from the US to Italy to South Korea.
The show included some new award categories, including favorite K-Pop artist, favorite Afrobeats artist, and favorite Rock album. The award ceremony, of course, included heartfelt speeches, including one from ‘New Artist of the Year’ and perfomer Dove Cameron, who spoke about the tragic shooting at an LGBTQ+ nightclub in Colorado and what it meant to her and her community.
Taylor Swift was the most awarded artist at this year’s event, and numerous others took home their first award.
