With the exhibit concluding its world tour in Brooklyn, the final opening was certainly a cause for celebration. Curated by Susanne Bartsch, a close friend to Manfred Thierry Mugler, the evening brimmed with festivities calling back to the iconic fashion house. Beginning with a DJ set in the club-lit venue, guests entered to lit silhouettes of voguers, a nod to the ‘90s Mugler show staple. Filled with performances, the opening was an art showcase in and of itself. With sets from iconic New York City performers Joey Arias and Amanda Lepore, the event stood as a tribute to both the history of Mugler and the city of its setting.

The attendee list goes on and on, mostly dressed in Mugler for the momentous evening. Mingling amongst the crowd were big-name celebrities like Kylie Jenner, Laverne Cox, and Julia Fox. Also present for the evening were singer Tinashe, actress Rowan Blanchard, and model Lourdes Leon. Apart from these top-tier celebrities, attendees also included several individuals tapped into New York nightlife and the history of Mugler, like Legendary judge and perennial voguer Leiomy Maldonado.
