This Kappa x Juicy Couture Collab Is Serving Early 2000’s Vibes in 2020

“The full collection is the classic Cali-style fit – a girl of leisure with a touch of glam”

This fall, take it back to the early 2000s with a reinvented Juicy Couture tracksuit and pretend that you’re spending a day in extravagance at a chateau in the foothills of LA. Available in both silk satin and velour, this collection is perfect for someone looking to give off “leisure with a touch of glam.”

With stars such as Jennifer Lopez, Paris Hilton and Madonna spotted wearing these iconic looks in the past, they’ve become synonymous with the era-defining youthful energy of the aughts. Add Sofia Richie to the mix, and you’ve got an exciting, forward-thinking approach to a classic outfit that’s also suitable for 2020’s quick-paced fashion scene.

What makes this revival truly feel new is the careful approach to the feminine silhouette. These tracksuits have been redesigned to align with the current activewear industry while also seamlessly staying true to the original Juicy Couture aesthetic. And with an innovative partnership with Kappa, who’s tracksuit has been an instantly recognizable icon over the last 50 years by renowned soccer teams like Barcelona FC and US team, this apparel line is sure to make you feel comfortable and glamorous.

Choose from a variety of fitted tracksuits, tube tops, belted bum bags, and slides, all available in a pastel palette of mint and blush. Each design includes original detailing such as the iconic “Kappa Omini logo depicting a man and woman sitting back-to-back with the Juicy Couture Old English initial J entwined with a C across the classic Kappa band running along the arms and legs of track suiting”.

Unsure about wearing pastels? That’s ok. The two capsule collection also features clothing in a shade of black smoke. Be trendy, and comfortable all at the same time. The first collection, which drops on October 10th, will be made of delicate silk satin, followed by a second drop in velour sometime in the fall. The collection will range somewhere between $40 to $225.

And in true 2000’s fashion, the collection will be exclusively available at a pop-up in Los Angeles (8618 Melrose Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90069)  from September 10th – 13th. After that, it will be available at global retailers and Kappa.com beginning September 15th, followed by the Galeries Lafayette Champs-Elysees on October 1st.
