This Year’s Oscar-Nominated Films That You Should Watch

Check out five of our favorite films that are on this year’s Oscars Best Film ballot.

After the 76th Golden Globes kicked off 2019’s awards season we can’t help but bite our nails in angst as we countdown the days, hours, and even seconds to the Oscars. This year’s Oscars seems to be a shot at redemption for those Golden Globe nominees who unfortunately didn’t take an award home. The Oscar nominees were announced just earlier this week and the ballots look almost identical to the Golden Globes; with a few new additions added to the race.

One thing we can definitely gather from both the Golden Globes and Oscar’s is 2018 was an amazing year for film, and the general consensus is that the Best Film Nominee’s lead the pack. With several of the Best Film nominees being V alum we may just have to send the Academy an invoice for our manicurist; that is if we have nails left by the time the Oscars actually air. Take a look at our five favorite Best Film nominees that you should watch before the big day.
