Move over, NFL — Thom Browne is back with his annual Thanksgiving football tradition. When little Thom was reading himself for a holiday round of the quintessentially American game, it probably meant slipping on a pair of sweats and a t-shirt; now, the designer known for his swanky, fitted gray suits is redefining the sports uniform by introducing pieces like shell jackets, compression tights and a football parka into the mix.

Despite our apparent inability to get together this holiday season and celebrate Thom Browne Football in a due manner, the label decided to honor the tradition and have a few members of the TB family celebrate the event as much as possible from afar. The result? VIPs like Cole Sprouse, Jordan Firstman, Antoni Porowski, Dan Levy, Isamaya Ffrench and others shared snaps of themselves wearing TB Football. Think old-school holiday tradition with a fashionable, sophisticated twist — and we’re so here for it.

This holiday-themed campaign also marks the launch of the compression category — a new venture for the brand that coincides perfectly with the agility that is traditionally associated with football. While developing the new range over the past 18 months, Thom looked to his devotion to sport and experience as an avid runner and athlete, intent on creating a perfect category of sports separates for all health and fitness junkies out there.

In addition to compression tights and tees, the collection sees a series of shell jackets, running shorts and track pants for both men and women, all conceived in shades of charcoal and navy and targeted at true performance. Outside of the compression category, Thom Brown decided to have three additional styles launching exclusively with the 2020 football capsule: the football parka, the heritage trainer and grey mirrored tortoiseshell sunglasses. Fun fact for all of you fashion nerds: the football parka is based on the classic oversized parkas that little Thom wore as a varsity swimmer growing up.
