The US Open kicked off in New York this week, and while the world’s best players battle it out on court, Tiffany & Co. has staged its own show at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.

Running from August 18 to September 7, the installation begins with a giant Tiffany Blue tennis ball at the entrance, setting the scene before guests step inside. At the center are the Men’s and Women’s Singles Championship trophies, crafted each year in Rhode Island by Tiffany’s silversmiths and presented to champions in a tradition spanning nearly forty years.

This season also introduces a wildcard in Tiffany’s lineup: the HardWear tennis racket. Conceived as both a provocation and a showpiece, the one-of-a-kind design carries nearly five carats of diamonds across its frame, each facet catching light like sparks of motion on the court. Paired with a 24k gold vermeil tennis ball, whose seams glitter with an additional seven carats, the set reimagines sporting equipment as a vehicle for jewelry craftsmanship. It is at once a playful nod to competition and a daring exercise in high design, transforming a familiar object of athletic culture into something theatrical and completely unexpected.

Visitors can also interact with a Meta AI-powered feature that places them digitally at center court, walking away with a personalized memento. Paired with the in-person display, the activation brings together Tiffany’s physical craft and its ability to innovate within new cultural spaces.

The Tiffany & Co. US Open pop-up is open from August 18 to September 7 and located in the Fountain Plaza of the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
