Tiffany & Co. Invites You on Date Night With The Carters

Beyoncé and Jay-Z take a trip through New York in “Date Night,” the short film released today by Tiffany & Co.

Ever wanted to join Jay-Z and Beyoncé on a date night? Thanks to Tiffany & Co., you can. 

 

The iconic jewelry label debuted “Date Night” today, the bonus film to the “About Love” campaign starring Jay-Z and Beyoncé, featuring a special appearance from the powerhouse couple’s daughter, Blue Ivy. Set in New York, the short film is inspired by “Breakfast at Tiffany’s,” and is directed by Dikayl Rimmasch and second unit director Derek Milton.

 

The “About Love” campaign is Tiffany & Co.’s outlet for exploring love, in all its forms—playful, intense, passionate. “Date Night” captures the fun side of the Carters’ love story, intertwining the designs of the label with the true love of the couple.

 

“Date Night” opens with Beyoncé in the backseat of a Royce, venturing through Manhattan as Paul Anka’s romantic anthem, “Put Your Head on My Shoulder,” invertebrates. The musical legend plays with a yellow daisy next to her husband—he loves me, he loves me not—, sharing champagne and pizza.

 

Throughout the film, the Carters are seen wearing iconic Jean Schlumberger pieces. Jay-Z wears the Bird on a Rock brooch, designed with a platinum and 18k gold bird sitting atop a morganite gemstone of over 44 carats. Beyoncé, meanwhile, dons an Ailsa diamond ring of over 10 carats, pairing it with Ribbon Fan diamond earrings. Clearly, the couple is dressed to the max and accessorized to the stars—but what else would you expect from Beyoncé and Jay-Z on date night?
