Tiger Woods Officially Out of the Hospital and at Home
The golfer will recuperate from his injuries at home, he stated on Twitter

Good news for golf and Tiger Woods fans: he has officially been discharged from the hospital and will be recovering from his injuries at his South Florida home. He released a statement on his social media thanking everyone who’d been praying and supporting him.
The golf legend suffered serious leg injuries from a one vehicle crash on February 23 when his SUV hit a curb and rolled over off the road in Rancho Palos Verdes, near Los Angeles. He was conscious and was taken to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, before being transferred to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.

“I am so grateful for the outpouring of support and encouragement that I have received over the past few weeks,” he wrote on Twitter, announcing his return home from the hospital. Woods suffered from injuries to his face and compound fractures to his right leg.
“Thank you to all the incredible surgeons, doctors, nurses and staff at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center,” he wrote. “You have all taken such great care of me and I cannot thank you enough. I will be recovering at home and working on getting stronger every day.” The sheriff involved in the case stated that Woods had “no recollection” of the crash and had to undergo surgery. The car’s safety features were reported to be what saved him, as responders found him behind a deployed air bag.
