TikTok’s Addison Rae Launches Makeup Line

ITEM Beauty plans to debut next week with a line of six makeup items.

At just 19-years-old, Addison Rae is the highest earning TikTok influencer of all time estimated to earn $5 million each year, according to Forbes. And now, the TikTok dancing star is launching a makeup line promoting self love and positivity. 

ITEM Beauty was announced earlier this week on Rae’s Instagram, but the beauty brand does not plan to launch until next Tuesday. Since the announcement, Rae’s line has teased photos of six makeup items produced by the brand including brow brushes, mascara and bronzer. 

“I wanted to create a brand that supports individuality in a very real and authentic way,” Rae said. “ITEM approaches beauty the same way that I do. I want to be able to put something on my face that I can feel good about—clean products with ingredients that are good for my skin and enhance, not mask, my features.”

The brand’s Instagram description indicates that the new line of tools will be “clean” and filled with “lush ingredients.” Among these vegan and cruelty free ingredients are shea butter, coconut oil, jasmine, hemp seed and almond oil. 

ITEM Beauty launches with support from popular brand incubator Madeby Collective. Rae now joins a whole host TikTok and social media influencers who have turned to retail. Brands like Calvin Klein and Gymshark have long relied on social media influencers to promote product sales. 

News of Rae’s beauty brand comes as TikTok — a Chinese owned and operated company — faces fears of banishment from the United States as the Trump administration threatens to disallow the app from use in the country. 

ITEM Beauty co-founded by Addison Rae plans to debut next Tuesday, August 11th. Here’s a full list of items soon to be available by ITEM: Lash Snack lengthening mascara, Lid Glaze hydrating jelly eyeshadow, Powder Hour brightening powder, Cheek Money bronzer duo, Lip Quip lip oil, Brow Chow brow definer.
