As of August 23rd, we have catapulted into the season of work, service, and analytics… sounds like a blast right? Lasting until September 22nd, we are likely to be very conscious of details and hyper fixated on organization. Being as it is a Virgo’s mission in life to purify their activity in pursuit of their goals, it is a great time to lay our manifests on our inherent love of excellence in all strivings.

Symbolizing the end of the super charged, ultra driven energy of Leo season, it comes time to take a step back and think logically now about how to reach those goals. While Leo has great energy, courage, and honesty, Virgo has them beat when it comes to maintaining the longevity of those desires. The arrival of Virgo season isn’t one to be frowned upon but rather the perfect time to approach situations from a sophisticated, and long term perspective. Think of this season as the time to “store up nuts for winter” or in other words get all your ducks in a row.

Being an airy planet, Mercury is associated with all forms of communication and the in-flow and out-flow of intelligence. Where it is placed indicates how your mental function will be expressed, and where techniques and skills become available to you. Being as Virgo is in an Earth (mutable, feminine) sign, this relationship with Mercury makes us very receptive, and in touch with our bodies. We are extra self sufficient right now, don’t let this level of structure go to waste. 

That being said, Virgo’s love work, service to others and the gathering of the fruits of the material world, as symbolized by the harvest. They are likely to be good conversationalists with a wide range of interest in a variety of different topics. Though with all this knowledge comes the opportunity to become overly analytical or tap into over the top perfectionist tendencies. Be sure that you don’t miss out on the big picture because you are so concentrated on minor details.
