On Aug. 6, American Singer-Songwriter Tinashe released her fifth studi album 333. The album is available on all streaming platforms (listen to it on Apple Music and Spotify).

Prior to the release of 333, Tinashe released 3 single tracks to the album: “Pasadena (Feat. Buddy)”,  “Bouncin”and “I Can See the Future”.

Tinashe Jorgensen Kachingwe known mononymously as “Tinashe” moved to Los Angeles from Kentucky at a young age to pursue a career in entertainment. After working on many film and TV projects, Tinashe moved on to release several successful mixtapes before signing with RCA Records. She released her first studio album Aquarius in 2014 and two subsequent albums before departing from RCA. In 2019 Tinashe cemented herself as an independent artist with the independent release of her fourth studio album Songs For You. 

Tinashe’s music crosses multiple genres. She blends R&B, Hip-Hop and Pop music to create a “rhythmic pop” sound.

Buddy is not the only feature on 333. Tinashe also has features with Jeremih, áB, Quiet Child, Kaash Paige and Kaytranada on the album. Tinashe, known for her close relationship to her family, also includes her brothers Thulani and Kudzai on the track “It’s A Wrap”.

333 was inspired by Tinashe’s personal journey of enlightenment that she experienced over the past year.  The angel numbers 333 represent the enlightened person who is insightful and open-minded. She is able to see the world clearly, without attachment to preconceived ideas about people, place and things. 

Last month Tinashe announced the 333 tour. Set to kick off in Sept. 2021, the tour will visit 22 cities including a digital tour stop. The tour will start in Houston with shows in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Denver, Atlanta, San Francisco, Boston and more. Rising pop-star REI AMI will join Tinashe as a special guest opener on all dates.

Tinashe also announced she will be maximizing the accessibility of the 333 tour by concluding it with a digital experience. The digital experience will feature a full-length creative production specially crafted for at-home fans around the world. This experience is created  in partnership with Moment House, the number one premium live platform that has powered “Moments” by artists such as Tame Impala, Halsey, Kygo, Yungblud and Brockhampton.

Tinashe collaborated with Creative Director Franc Fernandez on many of the visuals and worked with photographer Marcus Cooper for the album’s artwork. When Tinashe first started working with Fernandez, she spoke about creating an album that was a cross between a spiritual awakening and virtual reality.
