Todd Snyder presents: ‘From Away’ Fall 2020 collection

Haberdashery takes a hike.

Todd Snyder presents, From Away, his personal homage to Maine sent all the way from New York City. Think: sherpa, shearling, and a teal corduroy suit that would have Mick Jagger drooling. Haberdashery takes a hike with Harris Tweed jackets, neon yellow nylon down puffers, and printed overcoats. Snyder stated that the collection was “inspired by Maine’s raw natural beauty” and focused on “suiting up for adventure – saratorial or otherwise.”

Also spotted on the runway was Snyder’s 40-piece collaboration with L.L. Bean. Paying tribute to the brand’s most iconic styles, Snyder debuted outerwear with the brand’s signature plaid as well as an archival duck print sweater and hand-knit Cowichan logo sweaters just to name a few. Beaming orange camouflage two-piece sets debut workwear that’s not only stylish but functional. Hunting hats paired with camouflage overalls and a hoodie that reads “Maine”, showing off a mix of appreciation for the great outdoors and a cool downtown bohemian style.

Notably, four women were seen working the runway for the first time since Snyder’s debut show in 2012; a rarity for menswear. Also in attendance were Andre 3000, Andy Cohen, Jenna Lyons, and Tyler Cameron among others.
