Tod’s Fall Winter 2023 Collection Merges Modern and Classic

From micro minis to ballet flats, the looks at Tod’s were trendy and timeless all at once.

At Milan fashion week, Tod’s Creative Director, Walter Chiapponi, debuted the House’s Fall Winter 2023 collection. The fabrics were luxe—shearling, wool, and nappa leather among them—and the accessories were perfectly constructed markers of Italian craftsmanship, from the brand’s T Timeless bag to of-the-moment ballet flats.

Sophisticated and refined, the collection featured a predominately neutral color palette along with clean, structured tailoring. But it wasn’t devoid of playfulness either—that came by way of oversized buttons, micro mini skirts, and bold belting.

Texture was toyed with, too. With flats and heels made from a combination of shearling and leather, Chiapponi made warm weather styles equally appropriate for the cooler seasons.

Tight knitwear and silk dresses struck a distinctly feminine mood, which was made even better when juxtaposed by masculine suiting and a variety of long jackets featuring prominent shoulders and bold lapels.

The collection was elevated and strong, reminding us that woman who wears Tod’s is, too.
