A modern romance story.

A modern romance story.

Tom Ford presented his Autumn/Winter 2020 runway show at MILK Studios in Los Angeles, CA last night, and the biggest names in Hollywood not only walked in the show but attended in support of Tom and the new collection.

Top models like Bella and Gigi Hadid, Anok Yai and Kendall Jenner, strutted down the runway, while onlookers such as JLO, Hunter Schafer, Kylie Jenner, Miley Cyrus, Tracee Ellis Ross, Jason Momoa, Lil Nas X, and Jon Hamm, watched from the front row decked out in TOM FORD ensembles.

The collection itself struck a balance where casual met extravagance and sensuality. Comprised mostly of evening wear, black lace appliques, leopard prints, silk, and sheer pieces were paired with tee shirts and sweatshirts as models graced the runway.

The designer says, “The look is chic but effortless. But the important thing is the attitude: a relaxed, sensual and somewhat louche kind of luxury that must be worn in a way that never, ever looks like you are trying too hard.”

Though, of course, it wouldn't be a TOM FORD show without an array of evening gowns and tuxedos from shimmery blacks to silky smooth pinks. However, what shocked us the most was the close of his show. “No tricks but just beautiful evening clothes, and perhaps I am feeling particularly romantic this season as for the first time I am ending a show with a bride. Fresh and hopeful. And hope is something I think that we all need right now,” said Ford.

Whether love is in the air because Valentine’s Day is just days away, V are feeling the love too.
