In 2018, the landscape of activism within the modern world of all things digital has become a focus for people that indeed have a following and have something to say. One figure, who from day one, that has used his voice to unapologetically promote equality and fight the injustices and discrimination of the LGBTQ community is actor and V favorite, Tommy Dorfman.

Starring in the likes of TV's hit "Jane The Virgin" as well as the Netflix sensation 13 Reasons Why, Dorfman has worked extensively with the GLAAD foundation and has now teamed up with Popsockets as one of their official Poptivists.

Popsockets describes the initiative as, "Poptivism is designed with a single purpose - to make the world better. And while we don't claim to be experts at changing the world, we do want to inspire you to take action for whatever cause you believe in. Here's how it works: each time you buy a PopSockets grip through Poptivism, we'll donate 50% of the sale to the non-profit assigned to it by its creator. The organization gets the contribution, and you walk away knowing that your purchase furthered a good cause. It's activism at your fingertips."

So, taking his turn at re-imagining the trendy-turned-necessary staple, Dorfman has designed two Popsockets titled "Celestine" and "Fire Rainbow" that will benefit The Ali Forney Center, a non-profit organization providing homeless LGBTQ youth between the ages of 16 and 24 with protection and empowerment looking towards successful, independent living.
