Tomorrow X Together and the Meaning Found in the Wound

Lose yourself in the gaze of others long enough and your reflection becomes a stranger. TXT’s 8th mini album is the reckoning
Tomorrow X Together have returned with their 8th mini album, 7th Year: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns, released on April 13, 2026. The project marks the group’s first release following their contract renewal with BIGHIT MUSIC, and it may be their most personal work to date.
The title says it all. Seven years captures the time the five members have spent together, while the thorns serve as a metaphor for the uncertainty and emotional turbulence that has defined parts of that journey. The album confronts the weight of expectations, the tension between dreams and reality, and the quiet struggle that comes with standing at the edge of something new.

What makes this album different is who is doing the telling. For the first time, the members themselves step into the role of narrators. They draw directly from their experiences and contribute to the songwriting in an unfiltered way that gives the project a raw quality. Across six tracks, the album moves through a full spectrum of emotion. Opening track “Bed of Thorns” sets the tone with arpeggiated synthesizers and a thumping drum machine to create the illusion of expectation, then reaching to the idea of fully owning the consequences of your choices. Lead single “Stick With You” is an electro-pop standout with a vintage 909 drum sound and techno-punk influences. It is an addictive, high-impact track that conveys the desperate feeling of holding onto something that is already slipping away. The track doubles as a metaphor for the group’s own determination to hold onto their dreams.
Seven years is a lifetime in any industry. Especially one as relentless as K-pop. The fact that TXT are creating some of the most emotionally candid work of their career speaks volumes about their artistry and growth. And this is only a glimpse. The album runs deeper, and chances are, you’re not quite ready for everything it holds. 7th Year: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns is out now!
